Coweta Samaritan Clinic provides primary medical care – free of charge – to people ages 19 and older who meet the following requirements:
Are residents of Coweta County;
Have no health insurance; and
Have household income below 200% of the federal poverty level
[200% of the 2015 federal poverty level is $23,544 annually for a single person; $48,504 for a family of four]
The clinic diagnoses, treats and helps patients manage chronic diseases including hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol, obesity, depression and respiratory disease. The clinic also diagnoses and treats acute illnesses and provides well care. Specialists in cardiology, dermatology, endocrinology, gynecology and neurology volunteer at the clinic monthly to treat patients. Other specialists and surgeons in the community accept referrals and treat clinic patients in their offices.
In addition to direct patient care, the clinic assists patients in securing expensive branded medications and insulin without charge from the patient assistance programs of the major drug companies; provides patient education classes and connects patients with other community resources to better meet their needs.

Patients at the clinic are seen by appointment only. The clinic does not provide emergency or urgent care and does not treat walk-in patients.
